Powerful finish and vinous.
Grape: 75% Pinot Noir, 25% Chardonnay.
Dosage: 8g/l Brut
Vinification:
From the chalk soils of our Tours-sur-Marne vineyard, classified as a grand cru.
Historical land of the family.
This Champagne has been aged at least 4 years in our cellar.
Only 17 villages can have the denomination and classification "Grand Cru" in Champagne.
Region:
Our vineyard is mainly located in the heart of the Marne Valley where we find clay soils with a strong presence of limestone and sandy marls.
Our plots in Tours sur Marne and Épernay are on chalky soils.
A chalky soil will give frank, fine wines, with a good length in the mouth and clay soils will give gourmet wines with a delicate acidity.
On our soils, we only use organic fertilisers and amendments coupled with natural treatments such as nettle slurry or horn dung in order to support the soil fauna which will work to balance them.
All our vineyard is grassed or plowed and the soil of the young plantations is worked by ploughing.
We have started to replace chemical weeding (currently only below the vine row) with tillage below the row.
