La Promenade 2016 Rosé - Côtes de Provence La Promenade 2016 Rosé - Côtes de Provence

Refreshing, elegant, round and delectable on the palate (Grenache, Syrah & Cinsault).

Food pairing:  Aperitif, grilled fish/meat, seafood, oriental dish, salad, Bbq...

Serving temperature: 10°C

La Promenade is an invitation to experience a special moment during which life slows down, an instant suspended in time…

Whether it be strolling through the heart of Provence, daydreaming on the beach, an escapade at sea…

Take off on a Promenade!

Tasting notes:

This Côte de Provence boasts beautiful rose petal color.

The nose is expressive, offering intense aromas of red berries and white blossoms.

This wine is refreshing, elegant and delectable on the palate with notes of citrus and red berries.

The finish is round and flavorful.

Vineyards:

A blend of several grape varieties, mainly Grenache, Syrah and Cinsault.

The grapes come from various plots located within the communes of Cabasse sur Issole and Flassans sur Issole.

Two typical Provencal villages at the heart of the Var department in Southern France.

Ideally located on the hillsides, the vineyards of Cabasse and Flassans, whose soils are predominantly clay-limestone based, benefit from exceptional climatic conditions with optimal sunshine for the ripening of the grapes along with cool nights that contribute to the vivacity of the wines.

An environmentally friendly approach to viticulture is practiced in not only our vineyards, but also in those of the surrounding area.

Vinification:

The wines are crafted at a winery that draws on traditional methods as well as modern technology (temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, pneumatic presses, etc...).

The grapes are brought to the winery early in the morning.

They are pressed immediately in presses kept in the cold before the must is allowed to settle.

Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks and the wine is aged for a short time on fine lees.
