History:

 

Bernique de BOUQUEYRAN owned Château Rose Cantegrit from 1465 to 1475. 

The last lord of the fief was Jean de GENOUILLAT.

Born at the heart of Medoc, between Margaux and Saint Julien, Moulis offers an exceptional

soil. 

The complexity and personality of the wine of Château Rose Cantegrit come from the

variety of the plots and the soils : the croup of Bourqueyran.

 

Grape varieties:

 

57% Merlot - 43% Cabernet Sauvignon.

Soil: gravel, clay and limestone on 12 hectares.

 

Vinification:

 

Vinification in thermoregulated stainless steel tanks, with long maceration.

Aged 16 months in oak barrels.
