Bordering the commune of Pomerol, Chateau de Marchessau is located on clayey gravelly soils allowing the production of harmonious and fine vintages.

This 90% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon wine is vivified traditionally, while respecting the structure of each vintage.

 

The maceration lasts 3-4 weeks.

The wine ages for 12 months in oak barrels, it is fined with egg whites and then submitted for light filtration.
